Alabaster salt cellar

This is an alabaster salt cellar made by Ducceschi. It is made in Italy and genuine volterra alabaster. The salt cellar is a beautiful pale blue. The bottom edge has scratches, the edge of the inside, & slightly on the inside of the lid. But, I think especially the scratches on the inside are the result of the action of opening and closing it.
