This is a junk item.
When batteries are inserted, a small motor sound can be heard, so I believe it is receiving power, but fast forward and rewind do not respond.
I am unsure if this is because a microcassette tape is not inserted, or if it is broken, as I do not own any cassette tapes.
Therefore, I have not been able to fully confirm its operation, so I will treat it as junk.
I will pack it carefully and ship it via Mercari delivery.
