Vintage 1950’s very rare Raymond Peynet “Angel Arrows Lovers” Danish Modern Midcentury Glazed Porcelain Dish/Plate/Bowl by NYMOLLE DENMARK DECOR model 2126-405. Dimensions 5 3/4” by 5 3/4” and 1 1/8” tall. Black painted picture of 2 Lovers being shot with angel love arrows by 4 cherubs on a white glazed porcelain background. French Artist Raymond Peynet is collectible, be it a painting or a porcelain impress. No scratches. No crazing. Looks as new as it was in a store in Paris or Copenhagen in 1955. Made in Denmark. Extremely rare. Price based on this being so rare. Collectible. Great example of upbeat Midcentury Modern Art. Look around for this Lovers with cherubs and arrows picture by Peynet and you won’t find it. The last one I saw sold for $700 in Germany. This is rare, classic Midcentury Art. People are bidding up Rae Dunn mass production ceramics while this one of a kind rarity should be the Pop Art/Mid Century rarity that’s snagged to cherish and give down though the generations
